Throughout its history, the Christian church has illustrated its faith with beautiful artworks. One only has to recall the marvelous mosaics done in the first two centuries to realize how early this practice began.
There are people, in fact, who believe that our faith is as well expressed through all the arts as it can be with words or explanations.
Community United Methodist Church in Half Moon Bay has continued this
glorious tradition through the stained-glass artistry of Robert Fitzpatrick, a member, who designed and executed all of the windows. Each window is based on a hymm chosen by those who commissioned the window. The stained glass windows were added in 1979.
