Located at the northwestern end of the sanctuary, this window is known as “The Ma Di, Mother of God" window. It was dedicated in August 1981 as a gift from Bill and Barbara Parsons:
"In
memory of R. H. Parsons Mr. and Mrs. Walter H. Haas Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Weaver"
The hymn for the Ma Di window is "What Child is This," a Christmas carol set to the ancient tune of
"Greensleeves." It tells the story of Mary and her son, Jesus.
Of all the windows only this one was not designed by Bob. It was adapted from a drawing which had special meaning for the Parsons.
Seven different shades of blue glass were used in this window. They were cut in various circles, curves, and angles.
Above the Madonna is a yellow star. The rays of this star radiate down to bathe Mary as
she holds her son. Beneath Mary is a furled banner which reads "Ma Di"- Latin for mother of God.
