The window depicting "All Things Bright and Beautiful" is on the eastern side ot the sanctuary. The plaque beneath this window reads:
"In Memory of Stacy L. Ganow Dedicated to Children Given
by the Robert L. Fitzpatrick Family"
For the Fitzpatricks, this is the most personal of the stained glass windows. It is a memorial to their granddaughter Stacy who was killed in a car accident in
Auburn, CA, three months before her 16th birthday.
The entire window is bound by a lei of flowers. This is a symbol of the family's never-ending love for Stacy. As a lei has no beginning and no end, so does a
family's love. The lei is also a reminder of the years the Fitzpatricks spent in Hawaii.
The bottom level of the window depicts life which comes from the ocean.
On the right is a fish swimming in a bed of seaweed. On the left is a conch shell.
The central tier of the window shows God's creations which live on land. On the right is a jack-in-the-pulpit lily. Lilies
have long been a symbol of both purity and resurrection. On one of the petals is a ladybug. As a child Stacy loved ladybugs and would happily play with them chanting the childhood rhyme. Her grandparents included a
ladybug in this window as a loving remembrance of Stacy. A chipmunk eating a nut is on the left.
A butterfly and a robin compose the top tier. These are symbolic of life in the sky. The robin has always been
the favorite bird of the Fitzpatricks' daughter Linda (Stacy's mother) and was included as a tribute to her. On the left is a butterfly. A butterfly has long been a symbol of Christian resurrection. Just as
the caterpillar enters a cocoon only to emerge as a beautiful butterfly so does man live his earthly life, die, and rise to heaven transformed in a new body to live eternally.
